On behalf of the Human Genetics and Genome Research Institute (HGGRI), it is our great pleasure to invite you to the 12th Conference of the Human Genetics and Genome Research Institute, taking place on December 5–6, 2026 at the Hilton Cairo Grand Nile Hotel. This year’s gathering carries special significance as it coincides with the Golden Jubilee; celebrating 50 years of serving Egypt’s genomic community.

Our theme, “Human Genome: Diversity and Precision Medicine,” reflects our commitment to exploring the future of modern medicine through cutting‑edge genetic science. The program will feature internationally recognized experts, interactive panels, and groundbreaking discussions on how genomics is transforming healthcare.

This Jubilee marks fifty years since the late Professor Samia Temtami set the first stone in founding the Institute in 1976, within an Egyptian landmark The National Research Centre” establishing a beacon of hope for families affected by genetic diseases. Over the decades, HGGRI has become Egypt’s distinguished center for comprehensive genetic services, training generations of scientists who now lead research nationally and internationally.

The conference will showcase innovations in human genetics, highlighting its central role in understanding complex conditions, predicting outcomes, and revolutionizing medical practice. It offers a unique opportunity to connect with colleagues worldwide, engage with patients and families, and strengthen networks that advance rare disease awareness and genomic advocacy.
